NBR/PVC
Blended rubber made of nitrile rubber (NBR) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has been the main rubber type used in existing rubber and plastics. Its raw material PVC is rich in sources and low in price, so it is widely used. The NBR / PVC emulsion blendind method is to mix rubber and plastic in an emulsion state, and obtain by co-precipitation and drying to obtain the dry blends. The product has high dispersibility, low Mooney viscosity and good physical and mechanical properties. This method is commonly used in rubber production enterprises. The mechanical blending method is to directly mix rubber and plastic on an open mill or an internal mixer. This method is simple in operation, cost and the ratio can be arbitrarily changed. It is a method used by product manufacturing enterprises. We use the mechanical blending method. The blends from acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) have been designed for products working in contact with oils. These two polymers mix homogeneously when fluxed, which provides flexibility to PVC and ozone resistance to NBR.
Properties
Excellent ozone resistance
Excellent resistance to swelling
Better processing and mechanical properties
Easy coloring
Applications
NBR / PVC can be widely used as fuel hose, conveyor belt, dust cover, flame retardant rubber floor, fuel gasket, sponge material, printing rubber roller, flame retardant rubber roller, cable sheath, textile apron, textile rubber roller and so on.
